| I. SPECIFICATIONS |
| Non-detectable acid and alkali-resistant safety warning tape for the protection, location, and identification of underground utility installations. Consists of a minimum 4.0 mil (0.004") overall thickness, inert 100% virgin low density polyethylene plastic film formulated for extended use underground. Tape shall be specified and supplied in accordance with the A.P.W.A. national color code and shall be permanently imprinted in black, environmentally safe, ink with an appropriate legend to define the type of utility line it protects. Linemark is impregnated with color-fast, lead-free, organic pigments suitable for direct burial and prolonged exposure to the elements normally encountered in the earth's soils. |
